Inclement Weather Procedures

It takes a significant weather event to close the doors of Easton School.  Fog, ice, snow and below zero temperatures can cause school to be canceled or delayed.   Historically, power outages have caused more school closures than weather.

Any school delay will be announced on the local radio station 95.3 KXLE.  Delays are announced as early as possible - normally by 6:00 a.m. 

If an early release is necessary, parents will be contacted by the school.  Students will not be taken home without parental contact.  For this reason it is essential that the office has current contact information.

District staff, if possible, maintain normal office hours and are on hand to answer telephone inquiries.
